Universitas Yarsi in collaboration with Perdana University School of Data Sciences will be organising a ‘Bioinformatics Colloquium’ at the YARSI campus, Jakarta from 3rd – 4th April 2018, in conjunction with the launch of the Bioinformatics Workshop Fiesta (BWF) 2018. The BWF2018 will see both PU-SDS and YARSI collaborating to organise a series of nine, back-to-back workshops, one per month, starting from April to December 2018. The BWF2018 will cover a range of bioinformatics topics and skills critical in current times where data mining is essential in making sense of the tsunami of big data from biological and medical research.
The Bioinformatics Colloquium is themed “Bioinformatics, Big Data, and Precision Medicine” and will involve a plenary talk, a keynote talk and two mini-workshops. The plenary talk will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohammad Asif Khan and the keynote by Dr. Setia Pramana. Both the mini-workshops will be conducted by experts from Perdana University School of Data Sciences, namely by Dr. Ranjeev Hari Nair and Dr. Khang Tsung Fei, respectively on Day 1 and 2.
